Anne Berit Walter has a background as a pharmacist. She has been working in many areas of the pharmaceutical industry. She started as a trainee at Ferring Pharmaceuticals in Germany after finishing master degree in Kiel, Germany. She has been a clinical coordinator in Leo Pharmaceuticals, Oslo, she was head of studies in the pharmaceutical continuing education at the University in Oslo. She took a master degree in health administration at the University of Oslo while she was a official in the Norwegian directorate of health. Anne Berit is now head of pharmacy studies at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. She is also Head of the Norwegian Professional Council for Pharmaceutical Education.
