Pamela is the Director of Pharmacy Services for the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU). In 2011, Pamela was instrumental in the setting up of a pharmacy vaccination service. This involved developing an accredited training course and delivering it to over 1,400 pharmacists, working with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) on accreditation standards for the training and standards for the pharmacy service, working with the Department of Health on enabling legislation for the service and producing guidelines and protocols for pharmacists to use in the implementation of the service.
