Commander Angelica Klinski was commissioned in the United States Navy in 2002 after receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, San Diego and a Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Houston and Clinical Informatics Certificate from University of Texas, Houston. Between 2002 and 2012, she completed an accredited General Pharmacy Practice Residency and served in pharmacy departments at Naval Medical Center San Diego, Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan and Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California. She also deployed aboard the hospital ship, USNS Comfort (TAH-20), in support of Partnership for the Americas humanitarian mission. In 2014, she assumed the duties as Director of Products, Services and Portfolio Management at the former Navy Medicine Information Systems Support Activity in San Antonio, Texas where she led the project management of over 65 Navy programs before its transfer to the Defense Health Agency. Currently, she serves at the US Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, Virginia as the Director of Capability and Requirements Management to facilitate the technology investments for US Navy Medicine. She also serves as the Information Technology Portfolio Manager for her pharmacy community.
